On September 20th and 21st, Troy's warehouse will be the place to be and to be seen. Everyone will be welcome to join in classes that will prove to be both fun and educational. This past Spring almost 100 stores took part in the two day event and the party atmosphere abounded. Shops enjoyed fantastic classes that were designed to give them ideas to increase sales in their stores. Pearl Krush of Pearl Louise Designs, Granola Girl Debbie Field, Kathy Brown of The Teacher's Pet and Karen Combs of Avlyn Fabrics were all anxious to share secrets with shop owners that only seasoned professionals have been privileged to know! And, at this coming Fabriganza, you will once again be able to take advantage of the incredible knowledge of incredible quilt industry insiders.

Also, we are finalizing our class schedule and we are very excited about some of the surprises that are in store for all of our shop owners and their guests. Keep close watch for your next Fabriganza Newsletter and registration form that will contain all that you need to know about the WONDERFUL WORLD OF FABRIGANZA! Remember, all attenedees are welcome in all of our classes. As always, you will be able to purchase fabric at bargain prices! And, you will be able to save on shipping by taking it with you! Troy's sales representatives will be present to show the latest lines for Fall. Representatives for R J R, South Sea Imports, Avlyn, Elizabeth's Studio and Studio Fifth Avenue (a brand new line) will be here to make sure that Troy's customers are up to date with all of their current lines. Shop owners will be able to see and write orders for fabric so that they will be the first in their areas to receive it.

Fabriganza is one big party under one big roof. Hundreds of fabric lovers interact with each other over coffee, cake and meals that help give them the energy needed to absorb all that is going on. Festive tables help set the mood for laughter and merriment. Every July, Chicago holds "Taste of Chicago." This annual event is something that people from all around the country come to Chicago to participate in. Troy takes its cue from one of the greatest cities on the planet and has its lunches catered by "Taste of Chicago" restaurants. Everything from stuffed pizza, to Italian Beef to Eli's Cheesecake comes right from the ovens of some of Chicago's most famous restaurants. And, the only "ticket" that you need to partake of this glorious repast is to be a Fabriganza attendee!

The Fabriganza prize table is something that regular Fabriganza particpants look forward to the most. Coffee makers, blenders, chocolate fountains, cutlery, just to name a few, are some of the prizes that people have had to select from. Patty Dockus of Quilter's Destination in Arlington Heights, Illinois, was the Grand Prize winner of a 19" HDTV. Way to go Patty!!! There will once again be drawings for gas cards for shops that sign up by August 1. We will also award a $100 gas card to the shop owner who travels the farthest to be with us.
