Colorfast scrim felt for chenilling. 20% Wool / 80% Rayon felt blend is needled through open weave scrim and then dyed and starched. 42" wide. Scrim provides body so felt can be embroidered without additional backing. This is the only washable product on the market for this use.
Maintains excellent dimensional stability and a luxuriously soft hand. Minimal needle and thread breakage translates to less downtime and higher productivity. Bleed free; easy to cut and handle.
Can be used as both layers of felt on award letter or name, but particularly the top layer that carries the actual chenille embriodery. Scrim is visible on one side of felt; use as back side.
