 Ami Simms is an amazing and passionate person. Her list of accomplishments is many. She is an author of numerous books on quilting, a sought after quilting instructor, a featured television guest on quilting shows, an anthropology expert, and has traveled the world for enjoyment and inspiration. Which leads us to Ami's sensational new fabric line, Pizza Party. Let us explain.
Ami, who was born and raised in Michigan, is the daughter of a university professor. Her father received three Fulbright Scholarships to travel to Italy to study southern Italian peasant culture. Ami was entralled with what she saw as a child, and has returned multiple times to soak up the ambiance of what she now calls her second home. Needless to say, she loves all things Italian. Especially the food, with emphasis on pizza!!
She therefore decided to meld her loves and has been trying to design the quintessential Pizza Quilt for years. She was bewildered by the lack of pepperoni fabric, and decided that it was time to take matters into her own hands. From this frustration has emerged Ami's very own Pizza Party fabric line. A line that is filled with everything from the crust to the toppings. Fabric that looks good enough to eat.
 You will be able to make pizza quilts!! Quilts that you will be able to wrap yourself in, eat a pizza and not care if the sauce gets on it, for it will blend right in. Just don't wake up hungry during the night - you might get confused and start to eat your quilt!!!
